AFA Client Data Security

The hedge fund industry can often require a significant degree of confidentiality and security to Hedge Fund and Private Equity Fund Administrators.  AFA employs Department of Defense (DOD) Standards level encryption algorithms such as AES 256 for customer data encryption, EV SSL for Client Login Access, SFTP for secure files transfers and PGP encryption for secured email communications.  Our security standards are audited as required by our SAS 70 Type 2 compliance.

All AFA offices and remote access points are interconnected using encrypted Virtual Private Networks (VPN's) to insure that all data interchanged between its offices remain entirely secured.

AFA's infrastructure is secured primarely with CheckPoint's SecurePlatform products which includes centralized Antivirus and Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDS/IPS).
